How to renew your Personal Insolvency Practitioner Authorisation
An application for renewal of an authorisation to carry on practice as a personal insolvency practitioner must be made at least 6 weeks before the expiration of the authorisation.

The application for renewal can now be completed through your Insolvency Service account, access to the online portal is here which is supported by Chrome or Firefox.
Supporting documentation
The following documentation must be submitted with the renewal application form:
a) PII Cover (Part D) - written evidence of PII cover (copy of policy or similar),
b) Tax Clearance Requirements (Part E)(access number and reference number),
c) Signed Declaration (Part F),
d) Completed Accountant’s Report (Part G).
Please note that as part of an application for renewal, you may be requested to participate in a meeting with the ISI Regulation team.
Fees
The application fee for the renewal of an authorisation as a practitioner is €1,000. Currently the ISI is authorising practitioners for a period of three years.
